  • Here’s information from Capital Area Transit’s General Manager Bill Jones:Due to the forecast for the potential of 2” of snow per hour continuing into the afternoon hours on top of what we have already received, the decision was made to suspend service and not operate CAT Fixed Route and Shared Ride Service today Thursday, February 13, 2014.  CAT anticipates operating normal service on Friday.

  • City Treasurer John Campbell says the Office of the City Treasurer will be closed Thursday, Feb. 13 due to staffing shortages. Payments are still accepted online and through the Drop Box.
  • Roy Christ, Director of Building and Housing, says the CDBG meeting scheduled for Thursday is also cancelled due to the severe weather.
