What is it? It’s a national event that gives communities across the country the opportunity to join together in bicycling to school on the same day.
Bike to School Day is part of the movement for year-round safe routes to school.
Families who live too far to walk or bicycle to school and families with limited safe routes for walking and bicycling, can participate, too!
Pick a place to park within a safe walking or bicycling distance of the school. On May 4, drive part way to school, park and safely make your way to school with your children when you’re ready.
