November 5, 2018 HARRISBURG – The City of Harrisburg is holding a public meeting on the Vision Zero program to stop traffic injuries and fatalities on North Second Street from 6-7 p.m.  Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, at [email protected], 922 North Third St.

The meeting will allow Harrisburg residents to give input on the North Second Street two-way conversion project.  The project envisions two-way traffic on Second Street from Forster to Division Streets

City representatives along with its design consultants and various project stakeholders will be present to answer questions and receive comments regarding the project. 

The agenda is as follows:

6 – 6:20 p.m.:  Introductions and Background

6:20 – 6:40 p.m.:  Technical Considerations

6:40 – 8:00 p.m.:  Street Design Toolbox

7:00 – 8:00 p.m.:  Interactive Workshop

    Perhaps if best-practice engineering were used, there would be fewer issues? Vision Zero is a failure wherever used.
