HARRISBURG – The City’s Public Works Department has crews salting streets throughout the City during the first snow event of the season.
“Our Public Works crews are out making sure street remain clear and safe for travel,” said Mayor Eric Papenfuse.  “We are carefully monitoring the situation and will keep residents informed about street clearing activities.”
Public Works has 16 trucks patrolling the City to clear snow from streets, bridges and ramps.
Residents are asked to park close to the curbs to allow trucks easy access to clear streets.
