A workshop to discuss the city’s housing needs as part of the Comprehensive Plan will be held 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the First Church of the Brethren, 219 Hummel St. Free parking is available in the church’s parking lot.
The meeting will allow participants to discuss Harrisburg’s housing resources, needs, and possibilities over the next 20 years. It is one of the several key issues being addressed in the Comprehensive Plan that will chart the city’s development over the next 20 years.
The city recently held a series of public hearings in neighborhoods throughout Harrisburg to engage residents in the Comprehensive Planning process.
