The City of Harrisburg is asking for your input in setting future goals and programs to better serve the community through the Department of Community and Economic Development. Learn more about the Consolidated Plan and how you can help us plan the future of our community.
The City of Harrisburg is in the process of preparing its Three-Year Consolidated Plan for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The Consolidated Plan will serve as the blueprint for the expenditures of federal funds in the City from October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2023.
As part of this five-year planning process, Harrisburg is required to identify the housing and community development needs for low-moderate income persons and households, as well as persons with special needs such as disabilities, substance abuse, mental illness, HIV/AIDS, the elderly, the youth, etc. Your participation in this planning process will enable the City to develop an accurate strategy that addresses the priority needs of these groups and individuals.
