How do I obtain a business license for the City of Harrisburg?

Applications can be downloaded from the City website and either mailed to our office (listed above), or if you need assistance they can be brought to our office.  A check or money order should accompany the application.

I would like to apply for a tax abatement...what is the process?

In order to qualify for tax abatement benefits, a property owner must file for tax abatement at the same time he or she applies for a building permit for the intended improvements or new construction. All necessary electrical, plumbing, zoning and building permits must be obtained prior to beginning work.
