The City of Harrisburg is holding a public meeting on the Vision Zero program to stop traffic injuries and fatalities from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Fire Station #2, corner of State and N. 16th Streets.
The purpose of the meeting will be to allow Harrisburg residents to receive information about the Vision Zero program and to offer their suggestions and feedback.
Officials will focus specifically on the first phase of the Vision Zero project, the State Street Rapid Response. Research has shown that State Street has a high incidence of traffic accidents, including those involving pedestrians.
