HARRISBURG – Harrisburg Police Officer Jeffrey Cook will be honored by Safariland Saves Club at 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, in the Emergency Operation Center, accessible through the MLK Government Center, 10 N.Second St.

The Safariland Group Saves Club honors officers who, during the line of duty, experience a life-threatening incident in which their Safariland Group armor or gear contributed to saving their lives.

These heroes become advocates for the law enforcement community, expressing the importance of wearing armor, providing safety tips derived from their own experience and serving as living proof of the Safariland Group creed; Together, We Save Lives.

Ed Hinchey, Saves Club Manager for Safariland, Stacey Baker of Safariland Group, and Jeff Bridi from Atlantic Tactical will present Officer Cook with a plaque recognizing him for being saved by Safariland Protech plates.
