On Saturday, March 2, 2019, the City of Harrisburg will present the second annual Ice & Fire Festival in Downtown Harrisburg. Featuring dozens of ice sculptures, an ice skating rink in the street, live musical performances and more, the Ice & Fire Festival will be Harrisburg’s largest winter festival
The second annual Ice & Fire Festival will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 1pm – 9pm in Downtown Harrisburg. This one-day event will feature dozens of illuminated ice sculptures, children’s activities, FREE ice skating in the street, a 33-ft ice slide, firepit lounge, glass blowing workshops, food trucks, artist market, vendors and more! Local school choirs and bands will perform throughout the day and professional fire dancers will perform at 5pm and 7pm.
Vendor applications are now available for food truck vendors, product vendors and non-profit vendors. The vendor application is February 4, 2019. This event drew nearly 10,000 attendees last year and is expected to draw an even larger crowd in 2019.
The City of Harrisburg relies on community partners to produce the Ice & Fire Festival. Sponsors receive extensive media coverage, booth spaces at the event, promotional listings on billboards and marketing materials, guest speaker opportunities and much more. This event attracts an estimated10,000 guests and will offer exposure to a diverse crowd of local residents and regional visitors alike. $10 event parking from 10am – 10pm will be available in the Market Square garage. 4 hours of free parking using the “LUVHBG” code in the ParkMobile app.
