HARRISBURG – Mayor Eric Papenfuse will lead ribbon-cutting ceremonies at the newly renovated lower Riverwalk.
What: The Riverwalk project, which replaced and repaired portions of the walkway along the Susquehanna River between Shipoke and Maclay Street, is now complete and ready for pedestrians and bicyclists to enjoy. In addition to the cutting of the ribbon, an “inaugural bike ride” will also occur as part of this event.
Where: Lower Riverwalk, at the end of the ramp near the Walnut St Pedestrian Bridge

Who: Harrisburg Mayor Papenfuse, Harrisburg City Engineer, representatives from the Capital Area Greenbelt Association, and other project stakeholders
