Jan, 9, 2019 Harrisburg, PA – A new electronic kiosk has been installed at the City of Harrisburg’s Public Works Building, 1820 Paxton St., to allow people to use credit and debit cards to pay refuse/disposal and parking tickets.
Residents also will be able to use the kiosk to pay City and School taxes during the appropriate payment period. The kiosk will be available 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. Monday through
The kiosk will accept MasterCard, VISA, Discover, and PayPal. Use of the cards will entail the following fees:
- Credit card convenience fee is 2.35% ($1.00 minimum)
- Debit card convenience fee is 1.50% ($1.00 minimum)
The new kiosk at the Public Works Building may be more convenient than paying at the MLK Government Center downtown, as there is ample free parking. Payments made through the kiosk will be credited the next business day.
Residents will not be able to pay bills with cash or checks at the Public Works Building.
