Dec. 12, 2018 Harrisburg, PA –The prefabricated Harrisburg Police substation structure will arrive Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018 in the City of Harrisburg in five oversized loads. The structure will be set on the cast-in-place concrete foundation at 15th and Drummond Streets.

To accommodate the delivery, “No Parking” signs will be posted along Derry and South 15th Streets. Strict compliance with the “No Parking” signs are required and violators will be towed to allow the delivery to occur.

Media and people  wishing to observe the activities may park on South 16th Street.  South 15th Street will be closed.

The 1,600-square- foot structure was designed by SGS Architects Engineers Inc. at a total construction bid price of $929,194.  The contractors are King Bryant, Inc. (Prime); Garden Spot Mechanical, Inc. (Plumbing and HVAC) and Wassertech Engineering Ltd. (electrical).

The modular building was constructed at NRB Inc. in New Holland, PA.
