The City of Harrisburg’s Public Safety officials are closely monitoring the river levels and weather forecasts that project rain throughout the weekend. But officials do not foresee significant flooding over the next few days.
“Due to the rainfall that is impacting our region, we are paying close attention to the rising waters in the Susquehanna River,” said Fire Chief Brian Enterline. “However, there is no cause for alarm at this time.”
Enterline does advise residents who live in flood prone areas to review their emergency plans and pay attention to forecasts over the next several days.
