Thirteen Police Officers to Receive Promotions Today at City Hall

 

THIRTEEN OFFICERS WILL RECEIVE PROMOTIONS IN CEREMONIES TODAY AT MLK GOVERNMENT CENTER 

HARRISBURG – Thirteen Harrisburg police officers will receive promotions in ceremonies at 3 p.m. today in the atrium of the MLK Government Center, 10 N. Second St.

“This is yet another sign of the strong leadership that is taking shape in the Harrisburg Police Department,” said Mayor Eric Papenfuse.  “We congratulate the newly promoted officers and support them in their commitment to protect the people of our great city.”

David Botero, the newly appointed Community Policing Officer, also will be officially installed at the ceremony. Police officers receiving promotions include:
