HARRISBURG – The City of Harrisburg Parking Enforcement Office, located at 123 Walnut St Room 217, will be open Monday – Friday from 8am to 4pm starting Friday, June 12th. For residential parking permits, residents are requested to bring (or mail copies of) all required materials, including driver’s license, vehicle registration, and proof of residency. More details can be found at harrisburgpa.gov/parking-enforcement. At this time, payments can only be made by money order or check, made payable to City Treasurer. 

The enforcement of residential permit parking, along with street sweeping and metered parking, resumes on Monday, June 15th. To allow residents more time to apply for or renew their permit, there will be an enforcement grace period for residential permit parking only. Strict enforcement of residential parking permits will be begin on July 1st. All other aforementioned enforcement remains in effect June 15th. Residents in permit zones are encouraged to complete the application process and obtain their permit prior to July 1st to avoid penalties.
