Harrisburg — The City of Harrisburg Department of Building and Housing Development will lead workshops to discuss Community Development Block Grants and Emergency Solutions Grants for nonprofit organizations. The deadline to register for the workshops is Friday, May 13 and the deadline to submit applications is on June 17th.
Department of Building and Housing Development plans to send the recommendations to the City l Council to decide who will be funded by July 8th.
“The organization has to spend the money on the projects first. Then, they will receive reimbursement by September 30, 2023,” said Dennise Hill, City of Harrisburg Director of Building and Housing Development.
The public is invited to attend in person or online and provide comments via email. Residents may also email [email protected] for questions or comments.
