HARRISBURG – The City of Harrisburg to announce a significant blight clean up that occurred in the area of 17th & Walnut Streets. Mayor Eric Papenfuse will hold a press conference at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 28th, at 1704 Walnut Street. The site of this most recent clean-up took a team of several Public Works members to remove over 28 tons of trash. 

“I am encouraged by the quick action and attention to this matter by Director of Public Works, Nate Spriggs” said Mayor Papenfuse. “Blight threatens public health and safety, which is why the City wants to combat it for each of its citizens.”
