HARRISBURG – The City of Harrisburg will provide portable sinks in City parks to slow the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Two sinks are currently placed in Riverfront Park and Reservoir Park with plans for additional sinks.

“Our top priority is the health and safety of our residents, especially the elderly and most vulnerable,” said Mayor Papenfuse. According to health experts, washing hands regularly for 20 seconds helps slow the spread of the disease known as COVID-19.

“I would like to give special thanks to Belco Community Credit Union. We appreciate their support in providing financial support of the portable sinks during this pandemic,” said Mayor Papenfuse.
