HARRISBURG — An annual Earth Day tradition continues this weekend in the City of Harrisburg.
The city is partnering once again with Tri County Community Action for the 11th edition of the Great Harrisburg Litter Cleanup. This year’s cleanup will take place Saturday, April 22, beginning at 8 a.m.
Last year, The Great Harrisburg Litter Cleanup included over 300 volunteers, disposing over 20,000 pounds of trash and 450 tires. If you’re interested in volunteering this year, please do the following:

Uptown: Wesley Union AME Zion Church, 5th & Camp Streets, Harrisburg, PA 17101
There are multiple volunteer positions available at the cleanup, including litter picker, site coordinator, truck driver, and dumpster monitor. Volunteer times may vary depending on your choice.
