On Sunday, December 31, 2023 the City of Harrisburg will host the annual New Year’s Eve Celebration featuring the strawberry drop and fireworks at midnight. There will also be a Countdown to Kid-Night event including a balloon drop, milk & cookies toast and more family fun starting at 9pm.

ROAD CLOSURES: 2nd Street will be closed from Chestnut to Walnut Street starting at 6pm.
PARKING: the Market Square Garage is $10 from 5pm-5am courtesy of Park Harrisburg. Downtown street parking is free after 5pm.
Event Activities
COUNTDOWN TO KID-NIGHT
- There will be FREE face painting, NYE party hat and noise makers crafts, a balloon drop featuring over 1,000 balloons (10pm), milk & cookies toast and more family fun starting at 9pm inside City Hall at 10 N 2nd Street.
STRAWBERRY DROP & FIREWORKS
- We will have a DJ spinning tunes in front of City Hall on 2nd Street starting at 9pm leading up to the strawberry drop and midnight fireworks display.
