Construction will resume along State Street between 13th and 16th Streets on Monday, May 2, 2022, limited to the installation of ADA ramps and certain mechanical systems. At the same time, the City has commissioned design professionals to modify and redesign updated traffic lanes to better address the competing needs for public safety and our residents long term peaceful and quiet enjoyment of homes along this busy thoroughfare. Parking may be impacted during construction between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. until competition.
The City’s Vision Zero goals remain the same, which is to eliminate all traffic-related deaths by 2030.
