July 4th Food Truck Festival


On Saturday, July 4, 2026, the City of Harrisburg will host the July 4th Food Truck Festival at Riverfront Park from 1-9 pm. The event will feature 40 food trucks, live music, a wine/beer garden, a petting zoo featuring mini highland cows and goats, free kids activities and more. Celebrate America's 250th birthday with one of the largest fireworks displays in central PA at 9:15pm.
PARKING: FREE metered street parking for the holiday, $5 parking on City Island, $10 parking from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. at the Market Square Garage courtesy of Park Harrisburg (you must enter & exit within this time frame to get the discounted rate)
TRANSIT: Free bike parking at Walnut & Front Street courtesy of Recycle Bicycle. The train station is a short 3 block walk away.

40 FOOD TRUCKS
40 food trucks will serve up a variety of delicious bites for everyone to enjoy. Indulge in funnel cakes, lobster rolls, gourmet burgers, loaded fries, milkshakes, cheesesteaks, Asian cuisine, and much more.
FIREWORKS
In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, join us for a breathtaking Independence Day fireworks show that will light up the night sky in brilliant color. Gather with friends and family as we honor this historic milestone with a shared moment of pride, joy, and celebration! This spectacular event is proudly sponsored by PHFA.

LIVE MUSIC
Several live bands in a variety of genres will perform throughout the day at the Music Stage located near State Street. See below for the 2026 schedule.
1 - 1:45PM Olivia Elizabeth Basar
Harrisburg based Singer-songwriter Olivia Basar combines her delightful vocal choices with beautiful interpersonal lyrics that leaves you no choice but to be present in the moment with her.
2:15 - 3PM The Roomates
A Lancaster/York based cover band playing a range of hits from 80s to now across all your favorite genres! You’ll have a hard time not singing and dancing along.
3:30 - 4:15PM Lucid Ruby
A great group of multitalented musicians active in the local scene with a folksy feel to their alt-rock original jams and vibrant covers with their own spin.
4:45 - 5:45PM Joe Keyes & The Late Bloomer Band
This nine piece brass heavy jam outfit is a party waiting to happen! Fronted by the poet and conductor, Joe Keyes be prepared for a barrage of bluesy improvisation, jazzy horns and with an unmatched funk forward stage presence.
6:15 -7:15PM Ralph Real & The Family Jam
Fronted by rapper/producer/keyboardist Ralph Real, these performers blend RnB, soul, hip hop, even gospel music sometimes to get the crowd moving. Whether it’s one of their classic covers or catchy originals, when you hear the start of the beat, just know you’re in for a treat!
7:45 - 9PM Flux Capacitor
A mainstay of the Pennsylvania Jam band scene, this energetic ensemble melds improvisational electronica with melodic rock vibes to deliver a truly one of a kind experience that has earned it the title of one of Central PA favorite live bands.

You can also head to nearby City Island to take a ride on the railroad, play a round of mini golf, enjoy a trip onboard the Pride of the Susquehanna ferryboat, or take in the views over food and drinks at the Harrisburg Beach Club.
