The City of Harrisburg held its National Night Out on Tuesday, August 1, for the first time on City Island. Thousands of city residents showed up to get to know local law enforcement and first responders. There were games, giveaways, face painting, and balloons. Barbecue courtesy Blue Bear BBQ, plus Farm Show Milkshakes, Bricker’s Fries, and Schnader’s funnel cakes. Police cadets sat in the dunk tank, and the Susquehanna Riverboat Association provided free, 30-minute rides on the Pride of the Susquehanna.

Thank you, Harrisburg, for making this National Night Out our best one yet!
