These free programs enrich our Harrisburg communities and neighborhoods by people of all ages with fun and free activities such as Art in the Park, The Summer Enrichment Program, Aqua Zumba, and more! These programs are all free although some require registration so be sure to follow us on Facebook for regular updates and photos of all the fun!

Halloween Movie Series

Our free Halloween movie series is here! We are showing a different Halloween Movie every Friday in October at 7pm. There will be Drinks and Refreshments while supplies last! Join us for:

African Dance Workshop

Looking for something to keep you movin’ all Fall long? Try our African Dance Workshop this Fall Starting September 14th until October 26th, for adults 55 and up!

Conversational Spanish Series

Parks and Recreation is offering a free conversational Spanish series for adults! This series has been created to help build up basic communication skills with non-Spanish speakers. We will provide a conversational environment to introduce simple concepts of grammar and phonetics while keeping the class interactive and fun. This program is not intended to teach a Spanish college course; instead, it will give you some knowledge about language and culture.

These events are funded by generous sponsorship, donations, and volunteer efforts. Sponsors are also able to promote themselves to the community and market themselves through event promotions while volunteers have an opportunity to network!
