Harrisburg, PA – Calling all artists! The 2022 Harrisburg Artsfest Sticker contest is open, and is waiting for your design!
The 54th annual Artsfest will be held May 28-30 along Riverfront Park in Harrisburg. The festival features 150+ juried artisans from across the country selling their artwork and wares, live entertainment, Jazzfest, Kidsfest presented by Renewal by Anderson, HBGFest powered by the HBG Flea, plus 25 food trucks, a community glass mural project and more.
New this year, the City is inviting artists of all ages from across Pennsylvania to showcase their talents by submitting a design for the 2022 Artsfest sticker that will be distributed to attendees throughout the event. The design tools are at the discretion of the artist but should be produced at a high resolution and submitted electronically as an image file and print-ready file. The design must include the event name (Artsfest), location (Harrisburg) and year (2022). Submissions will be accepted until 11:59pm on Sunday, May 1, 2022. Designs submitted will be shared on the City of Harrisburg’s Facebook page starting on May 2, 2022. Members of the community will be able to vote for their favorite design by “liking” the photo on Facebook. Voting will end on Sunday, May 8 at 11:59pm. A panel of City officials and local design experts will score the designs and the total “likes” the designs receive on Facebook will factor into the overall score. The winning entry will be announced at the festival press conference on May 25 at 11am at the MLK Jr. City Government Center. The designer of the winning entry will receive $200 for their work and will also receive recognition on the event website, city social media pages, and sticker distribution area at the event.
