HARRISBURG — The area outside Harrisburg’s city government center will look a little more festive this holiday season.
On Thursday, Parks Maintenance workers delivered a 33-foot white spruce tree to the plaza outside the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. City Government Center. The tree, which comes from Sobers Christmas Tree farm in Mechanicsburg, will shine bright outside City Hall through the start of the new year.
Members of the city’s Department of Public Works took time out of their busy days to wrap the large tree in lights, and hang ornaments on six smaller trees.
