“The City of Harrisburg is proud to stand alongside our community partners in this vital effort. Affordable housing has been a priority for my administration and is essential for our senior’s well-being and the overall growth of our City,” said Mayor Wanda R.D. Williams.

Embracing sustainability and functionality, Bethel Village spans 46,000 square feet and represents a blend of modern design and thoughtful living spaces. The project aims to meet the evolving needs of the senior population while enhancing their quality of life.

“Bethel AME Church celebrates the fruition of a vision born in 2015,” says Pastor Brangman of Bethel AME Church, “Our unwavering five-year effort, in partnership with Mr. Ryan Sanders and Mr. Blane Stoddart of RB Development, has made affordable housing near the Capitol possible, exemplifying our commitment to the community.”

Amy Dosen, Managing Partner of Gardner, said, “This project is indeed a labor of love, as cost escalation and the pandemic placed the project in jeopardy, but thanks to partners like the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, we are here today.”
