{HARRISBURG} – One of Harrisburg’s most popular family events is back this summer, as you can join the community for free movie nights under the stars, courtesy City of Harrisburg Parks & Recreation.

Free Movie Friday Nights will return to the Reservoir Park Bandshell, featuring eight family-friendly films starting July 12 with the film Wonder. The City of Harrisburg provides movie nights at no-cost to the public, including refreshments, which will be available until they are gone.

Films will begin around 8 p.m. throughout the summer months. Families are encouraged to arrive early to ensure parking.

Families can bring their own lawn chairs and blankets, as the movies will project onto a big screen in the bandshell.

The 2024 movie schedule is as follows:

July 12 – Wonder
July 19 – Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie
July 26: Blue Beetle
August 2: Cruella
August 9: Disney Pixar Presents: Elemental
August 16: The Little Mermaid (2023)
August 23: Wonka
August 30: Kung Fu Panda 4

Rain-outs are possible, and an announcement will be made on the City of Harrisburg’s social media channels as soon as decisions are made on inclement weather.
