{HARRISBURG} — With construction taking place throughout the City of Harrisburg’s Public Safety building, the Harrisburg Police Bureau lobby is moving temporarily to the Martin Luther King Jr. City Government Center Atrium.

The Public Safety Building, located at 123 Walnut Street, is around the block from the entrance to the MLK Building, at 10 N. 2nd Street.

All residents who require police services during normal business hours are now asked to visit the police receptionist desk, which has been moved to the city government center. Any person who requires an officer will be directed to the police report writing area, which is temporarily located in the MLK City Government Center basement.

These changes will go into effect April 4, and will last until approximately late August.

The Public Safety Building is undergoing a full renovation to replace and reinstall a new HVAC unit.
