2024 Project – Fish of City Island

  • A colorful school of fish is coming to City Island! During the event, attendees ages 10 and older can paint their own fish sculpture with whatever design and colors they’d like. We will later display the fish as part of a permanent art installation on City Island. There will be 450 fish in total to create an eye-catching splash of color and fun photo opp. The fish sculptures will resemble a Rock Bass, a fish species found in the Susquehanna River along with other waterways throughout the State. Sculptures will be provided as long as supplies last, so we recommend arriving early each day if you want to participate. Thanks to Green Mpountain Energy for your support of this project!
  • This project was inspired by the “One Fish, Two Fish” art installation in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada. A photo of this project is on the left.
