The City of Harrisburg is committed to providing its residents with places to play like neighborhood parks and playgrounds. We realize these areas must be safe, maintained, and provide a variety of recreational opportunities, from play structures/swings and courts to gathering areas and open lawn.

These current projects have the potential to enhance and upgrade 5 City parks/playgrounds and with proper planning and community involvement they can meet the needs of as many residents as possible. Maintained recreation areas increase the appeal and wellness of neighborhoods. As a potential user and stakeholder of City Parks and Playgrounds, your opinion is both respected and needed during the planning process and the development a Final Renovation Plan. What would be your ideal playground? Do you have a vision for a park? Please complete the appropriate survey so we can find out what is important to you as we prepare the Final Renovation Plan.
